The inner stadium and training grid at Kingswood were track set this morning.

Liberton Hill has been groomed with a hilly 1km skate track. Perfect way to get a ski in while the kids toboggan!

Grooming Update - Thursday, December 6th

Upper & Lower River lot were groomed and track set - conditions are excellent! Sturgeon Road was lightly packed and track set - fair for classic, bumpy for skate. Kingswood stadium inner and outer loops groomed and track set. Centre grid area was partially packed but grid not track set. Liberation status to be confirmed.

Upper & Lower Riverlot were groomed and track set. Kingswood Park also.

 

 

FW: Sat practice

 

Just a reminder that we will be practicing at 7 Hills (above Father Jan School) on Saturdays.  We meet at the bottom of the hill, where the school parking lot is.  Bring your poles, if you have them.  Roller skiers can bring their equipment – not sure if we will have an opportunity to ski, but bring it just in case.  There aren’t any washrooms at the 7 Hills site so a reminder to use the washroom before you leave home. 

 

Monday and Wednesday practices will be at Kingswood, at least until we have snow, and Sat practices at 7 Hills.  More details about the youth program are now posted on the “youth team” website, including some info about upcoming events.
